We all gathered at the
Amerihost Inn Whitewater, WI
after Margarets visitation Tuesday night.
We enjoyed conversation, memories,
lots of laughs, pizza and of course...Manhattans!

We lift our glass and
Skoal to Margaret!

Welcome to the Quarterly
Lilyquist Family Online Newsletter!
Sometimes it is hard to get together with family more than
once or twice a year. Hectic schedules, children's activities and work commitments can
prevent families from seeing each other more often.
What better way to stay in touch over long distances than with a online
family newsletter? While a newsletter will never replace face to face communication, it's
a fun and easy way to keep family members up-to-date on recent events in our lives.

Margaret Elvira
Lilyquist-Maddox
February 9, 1913 - May 12, 2007

In everybody's garden a little rain must fall
Or life's sweetest fairest flowers,
Wouldn't grow and bloom at all.
And though the clouds hang heavy
So heavy. Oh!
My friend.
I'm sure that God who sends the shower
Will send the rainbow's end.

These rainbows, Bill and I saw on the way home after Auntie Margaret's
funeral
on May, 16 - Could this have been Uncle Allen and Auntie Margaret bidding us a safe trip
home? I would like to think so!

October Issue
SNEAK PEEK!
Next issue - out in October...
Our own Jodi Hallsten
will be writing a story on the
Lilyquist memories
during the Great Depression!
